Personally-printed product provider ink2 will demonstrate efficiency and advantages of short run digital print on demand.
The company intends to do so at the National Stationary Show in New York City later this month with the help of a Kodak digital colour press, the firm notes.
Mark Rinella, chief executive officer and president of ink2, states that the need for the market to evolve can be seen when one visits a greeting card store and cannot find the right one, despite their being an endless selection of the products.
"Combine the latest digital press technology from Kodak with the strength of the web to aggregate a growing body of greetings content and you have a better model.
"Retailers now have the ability to stock their stores with fresh relevant content on a daily basis," he adds.
In related events news, printer manufacturer Epson recently announced that it intends to showcase a range of its new technologies at the upcoming drupa 2008 trade exhibition in Dusseldorf.
