Small printing jobs 'proving big business'
Tuesday 03rd of June 2008
Small digital printing jobs are proving to be big business in the US as the market for full colour services increases, according to reports.
Having been named among the 100 fastest growing firms in the city of Rochester in New York state recently, the Electronic Demand Publishing company revealed that small-scale digital printing business has been the key to its success.
Bosses of the company explained to the local Democrat and Chronicle newspaper that by using some of the latest technology from Kodak and Xerox they are able to meet the digital printing demands of their customers regardless of the size of the project.
Explaining the services his firm offers, chief executive John Lacagnina said: "Digital color is competitive - there are many printers that do digital color printing - but not many printers do it 'one-off'."
Last week, Xerox announced the availability of its latest digital printing software solution the FreeFlow Express to Print.
